Interested in building a career as a camera operator and director of photography. Park City Television, August 1, 2013 – Present

Currently working as a director, producer, camera operator and editor, creating content for broadcast and web. Continued improvements to all aspects of production at the station are at the forefront of what drives my work.

Kickstarter Video Campaign, July 1, 2015 – Present

Currently working with a professor in the University of Utah Business School to create video content for the launch of an upcoming Kickstarter campaign. Casting, budgeting, and coordinating talent were essential to the production process. Postproduction has consisted of refining video content to meet the clients needs.

Bell Enduro Cup, July 20, 2013, July 19, 2014 & August 15, 2015

Contracted by Mountain Sports International (MSI) to provide event coverage of the Bell Enduro mountain bike competition at Canyons Resort. The event involved preproduction, production and postproduction meetings regarding; shots, branding, course knowledge, key riders, locations, and the overall effectiveness of the shoot. Communication, teamwork and efficiency were integral to the success of the event.

Health Catalyst Corporate Interview, April 24, 2015

Hired by producer Nicholas LaClair as a camera operator/assistant and gaffer for an interview with Health Catalyst CEO, Dan Burton. The shoot required advanced knowledge of the EOS Cinema line of cameras, as well as common grip, lighting and electrical practices. During the shoot I was also required to monitor audio and maintain critical focus on the subject.

2015-16 Marker-Völkl Mantra On-Hill Ski Shoot, April 13, 2015

Working along side photographer Scott Markewitz to capture video content for the 2015-16 Marker-Völkl ski and outerwear line. A long day following top-level athletes around Snowbird Resort required keeping energy high and having plenty of physical endurance. Previsualization of shots and clear directions were key to fulfilling the client’s expectations..

Snowbird Freeride World Tour Editor, March 7, 2014

Filled in at Mountain Sports International (MSI) as an editor trimming and tailing GoPro footage and turning it into a polished product. Short notice meant adapting to an unfamiliar workflow and adhering to an established style. Consistency across multiple timelines was also a must.

Bleacher Report Olympic Profiles, December 12, 2013

Camera operator for the production of online publication, The Bleacher Report, speed skating Olympic profiles at the Utah Olympic Oval. Contracted to light and shoot interviews and training of, Sochi Olympic athletes, JR Celski, Tucker Fredricks, and Heather Richardson.

BMW, "Road To Sochi" Commercial/ "Driving on Ice" Bobsled Documentary, October 17-20 & 24-27, 2013

Worked as a Production assistant for Stun Creative during the production of "Driving on Ice" and BMWs "Road to Sochi" commercial at the Utah Olympic Park. The production provided lesions in set etiquette and how large-scale commercial and documentary teams operates. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: Craft Services, hiring of additional Production Assistants, handling of production funds, picking up and drop off of essential production equipment, care and storage of gear, van rental, assistant to the second unit DP, purchase of expendables, pick up and drop off of crew.

Colorless Green, June 3-28, 2013

Second Assistant Camera Operator and Clapper/Loader for the production of the independent feature film, Colorless Green. A knowledge of digital cinema practices and equipment as well as being able to fill in at a moments notice for the first assistant camera operator and as a camera operator contributed heavily to my success on set. In addition, my knowledge of Grip and Gaffing was utilized by the Director of Photography while on set. Hard work, safety, communication and attention to detail were essential to the position.
